Sarcoidosis in a Toddler: A Rare Presentation

Sarcoidosis is rare multi-system granulomatous inflammatory disorder. It reported to present by two distinct presentations in childhood. presents the second decade of life pulmonary infiltration, lymphadenopathy and hepatosplenomegaly, rarely before age 4 years typical triad uveitis, rash arthritis. We report a child 1 year 9 months with sarcoidosis who presented one month fever, infiltration elevated levels angiotensin-converting enzyme. Chest computerized tomography revealed multiple enlarged mediastinal hilar lymphadenopathy. A right inguinal lymph node biopsy showed non-caseating granuloma. Other etiologies were investigated for ruled out. Hence, can children infiltrates, lymphadenopathy, absence clinical spectrum vary considerably. Diagnosis should be suspected any uveitis.
